Don’t Learn, Understand Digital Marketing. What do I mean by this?

When I go for new client meetings and make them understand about digital marketing, answer their queries and give them solution to meet the objective through digital marketing I receive various type of answers. Among them some clients says “I am from IT back ground and I know about this know about that..”. Why do they say this I don’t know?

It seems everyone knows digital marketing these days but very few actually understand it.  The best way I can explain Digital Marketing is to say that digital marketing is a whole digital ecosystem where – in the best case scenario – all the parts and pieces work together like a human body. If a marketer only focuses on creating links or posting on Facebook, that is not taking advantage of what digital marketing offers when it’s done well. It’s about understanding the detailed mechanics of how people relate to the Internet, and learning how to use that to get the results you want. It’s about being creative and combining several strategies that are specifically designed to work together to achieve the same goal.
